Thank you for your ongoing courage and dedication. Josie and I have just made another donation, and I have restacked to encourage others to do so as well.
Thank you. The child in the video breaks my heart. But also, I suppose, gives some hope. Such bravery. I hope he is okay and getting the support he needs.
I also feel very sorry for the father. He represents millions of gas lit parents. What a burden to live with. Helen Joyce's comment is exactly on point. Trans ideology turns the whole family into victims.
The decision to Drop the T—going from LGBT Courage to LGB Courage—seems like a major shift. A decision with big implications. They could be positive and necessary, but at this point I am not sure what they even are.
Is there no longer any place in the movement for people who identify as trans themselves, but are appalled by medical transition for minors, invasion of all-female spaces, etc.? If so, what prompted the change?
Has the movement decided there is no subset of people for whom transition might be the only viable path—is “trans” simply a pathology in all cases? If not, where is the line drawn? Are there any walks of life (getting a job, renting an apartment) where a civil-rights framework is relevant for those who may never desire a “path back”?
Genuinely curious about these questions, would welcome some clarification!
I have gotten a couple of “message requests” since posting this, but unfortunately can’t get messages without downloading the Substack App. And my phone is too damn old to support the App. My Apologies! I can be reached at jojoryan56@yahoo.com.
Changing the name by dropping the “T” eliminates not unites. This is not a positive move by any stretch - this decision lacks courage and delegitimizes your cause.
The name change is a good one. While I appreciate that the old name was well intentioned, it never really made much sense. The allyship you had hoped to achieve was not truly possible.
Love the new look and powerful video. Thank you for your hard work in the trenches of it all.
BRAVO!!
Thank you for your continuing courage in standing up to this insanity.

Great news!
Love the new logo and mission statement. You are inspiring!
How can we share the video? Is there a link to just the video?
As many may have noticed X appears to be having some service issues, we will be releasing the video once X is back up and functioning.
