Thank you SO much for embarking on this absolutely essential initiative. This is incredibly important work. Our household has donated, and I have restacked to encourage others to do so, as well.
West Virginia, Nebraska and North Dakota should also be on the “remaining states” map!
West Virginia makes exceptions for “severe dysphoria” which is a loophole that basically allows it every case since every case is considered severe. After all, people believe that they will die if they’re denied access to these treatments.
Puberty blockers and hormones are still legal in Nebraska, applicants just have to wait seven days and undergo at least 40 hours of "clinically neutral" therapy before starting them.
Meanwhile, North Dakota makes an exception for “rare circumstances with parental consent”. I’m not sure what counts as this “rare circumstance”, but it’s a loophole nonetheless.
Thank you for this information. Jamie Reed did just testify in West Virginia to try to close that loop hole. We will follow up on Nebraska and North Dakota and work to update our map. We hope to see the loop hole removed in West Virginia this cycle.
What happened in CT a couple of weeks ago?? I haven't heard any updates.
And, thank you for all you do to bring these critical fights to our awareness. I live in WA state, and I can say the whole West coast is completely captured on so many levels. It's hard to keep up with everything going on around the country.
I can't be there in person, but I will be there in spirit.
I continue to be dismayed by the credulous outpouring of sympathy for and hysteria over so-called "trans kids" on the part of people who think of themselves as good trans allies.
Sex-realist activists need to educate the public that there is no such thing as a trans kid. Some are gender nonconforming youth who will find they are gay or lesbian provided they're not influenced by trans propaganda. Then there are kids who've latched on to a trans identity not because they really believe themselves to be trapped in a body with the wrong sex but because they've fallen under the influence of gender ideology and adults and peers who promote it. Some of them may just be trying to escape a particularly traumatic adolescence and they think they can do it by changing sex. I have to think this can be done in a calm and compassionate way.
The issue is that New Hampshire borders Vermont and Maine which both have “shield laws” and due to New Hampshire being such a small state residents won’t have to travel far to get these treatments out of state.
Keep up the great work!

I'm on the west coast but these issues are ALL of our issues. We must protect our kids.
Donation on the way.
