which is why I planted it in my garden and was rewarded to see dozens of chrysalis and eventually the emergence of the butterflies. I'm in my mid 60s and saddened to not have seen for decades the awe inspiring flocks of monarch butterflies often seen in my younger days.
Our milkweed have begun to bloom and like each summer, I’ll be welcoming the butterflies and watching for a chrysalis and caterpillar if we are lucky! I’m holding on to the “faith” that if we stop interfering so much with nature and let life unfold in its own time, we will get through this crisis. Thanks LGBT CC for this series!!
