Wu made various accusations against Jesse Singal, claiming to "have receipts", and then refused to provide them--even when thousands of dollars were offered to the charity of Wu's choice in exchange. As far as I know, these "receipts" have not yet been made public. Do these exist, or did Wu invent them?

Frustrated by the routine thwarting of any and all attempts to bring "reason," "science," or "evidence" into the trans discussion - (much less "detransitioners) - I've come to the uncomfortable conclusion that the gender-ideology movement, spawned out of Postmodern philosophy, is simply nihilism dressed in a blond wig, bright red lipstick and wearing heels. It is essentially - “nihilism in drag.”
Yes, but with an added scoop of sadistic contempt for women and children, plus a heaping helping of cluster B traits. Finish that off with an impressive imperviousness to fact and reason — see the comment above re things needing to be “held” as true, by a committee unspecified. (Gametes, anyone? The desire to be other than how one is born cannot be resolved by denying reality.
“Trans women are women” was meant as a call for social acceptance. It has been turned into a literal claim that biological sex can change. That is false. Mental health professionals, medical institutions, academia, and the media have helped entrench this confusion instead of challenging it. The lack of courage, boundaries, clarity has had devastating consequences.
I grieve for the children and their families that were and are told it is possible to change their biological sex.
No one can change their biological sex.
Accepting that reality is the first step towards some sort of response that doesn’t require erasing women, gays, and lesbians.
Of course people can change their biological sex and obviously so. Such garbage nonsense. Sex as a category for sorting actual individual humans is rendered meaningless if changing all these components of sex is somehow held to be insufficient to change sex.

What Wu is probably missing is that some boys reach Tanner 3-4 stage of puberty earlier than others and this person may have reached Tanner 4 before hormones and so it was too late.

Is there any study on how the wanting further changes (such as in Brianna Wu's case and other adults who wished they'd started sooner) might be a symptom of body dysmorphic disorder? For that condition, the advice to MDs is not to proceed, as (I believe) the outcome is usually requests for new body changes, or the patient simply deteriorates?
The prevalence of facial feminization surgeries at a somewhat young age (even if non-minor) among childhood transitioners does seem to distort what the expected outcome from puberty blockers and hormones actually might look like, leaving gaps that can be filled by wishful thinking. What’s blockers; what’s hormones; what’s your genetics; what’s surgery?
All I can do is thank Jonni, be inspired by his courage and self awareness.
